Notes: Purchased books will be distributed on class date. Please have it shipped to you, if you would like to receive it earlier.
Class is located at 230 Hana Hwy. Kahului, HI. AMR office, 2nd floor, stair access only.

For the general public who wants to know how to handle the first ten minutes of a medical emergency.

Course Content

  • First aid basics including:
    • scene safety
    • finding the problem
    • calling for help (and more)
  • Medical emergencies including:
    • actions for choking
    • breathing problems
    • shock (and more)
  • Injury emergencies including:
    • actions for bleeding
    • broken bones
    • burns (and more)
  • Environmental emergencies including:
    • actions for bites and stings
    • temperature-related and poison emergencies

Course requires approximately 3.5 - 4 hours to complete, including skills practice.

Certification card issued on next business day.

You are required to have the current textbook for this course. The price includes the New 2020 Heartsaver First Aid Student Manual.
