For the Healthcare Professional who requires advanced Pediatric Life Support in the hospital or pre-hospital setting.  It is designed to teach you the lifesaving skills required to be a team member or  team leader in either setting. 

Specific pre-requisites must be completed and turned in two days prior to the class.  Please register in enough time to allow you to complete the prework.  Students are required to successfully complete the AHA BLS HCP course and provide a copy of current (unexpired) AHA BLS certification card prior to the class.

1- and 2-rescuer child CPR and AED use

• 1- and 2-rescuer infant CPR
• Cardiac, respiratory and shock case discussions and simulations
• Key changes in pediatric advanced life support, reflecting the new science from the 2025 American Heart Association Guidelines for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Cardiovascular Care
• Management of respiratory emergencies
• Resuscitation team concept
• Rhythm disturbances and electrical therapy
• Systematic Approach to Pediatric Assessment
• Vascular access

Initial Provider Course requires approximately 12-16 hours to complete, including skills practice and skills testing.

Certification card emailed on next business day.
