The Basic Life Support (BLS) Classroom Course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize several life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner.

The BLS CPR Class covers:

  • Adult, Child, and Infant CPR
  • Conscious and Unconscious Choking for victims of all ages
  • Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use and special considerations
  • Breathing Barriers, Bag Valve Masks, and 2 Rescuer CPR
  • Cardiopulmonary Emergencies and Special Resuscitation Situations

Provider Course requires approximately 4-5 hours to complete, including skills practice and skills testing.

Certification cards issued on next business day.

The 2025 AHA BLS textbook will be provided. You have the option to pick up your book or have the e-book sent to you or have the book shipped to you for an additional fee. You will be required to register five (5) days prior to the class date if you opt to take the shipping option. If you believe you qualify for a specialized rate, call (808) 487-4900 or email HawaiiTraining@gmr.net. Student must provide the appropriate identification for the designated level prior to registering for the class either in person or via email. You will be given the appropriate promo code to submit during the payment process. Additional charges will be added if registering inappropriately.
